Beginner’s Basic Silver
Fabrication Workshop
Learn the basics of fabricating jewelry and accessories in sterling
silver!
In
this two-part beginner level class (no prior metal experience
required!) you’ll have lots of fun while you make everything from a
simple ring to a beautiful bezel-set gemstone pendant! In the
process you’ll learn how to use basic hand tools (see list below),
solder and finish your own designs in copper, brass, nickel and
sterling silver!
A maximum
of 4 students per class ensures personalized instruction for every
participant!
Riveted Sterling Bead Caps Workshop - Especially for Lampworked Beads
One-Day workshop - Day and Evening class times available - contact us for availability
Create your own decorative sterling bead caps and permanently mount them to
your beads without the use of solder!
In this beginner level class (no prior metal experience required!) you’ll
have lots of fun while you learn how to:
¨Design and fabricate sterling
silver bead caps
¨Use hand tools and design punches
to decorate your creations
¨Rivet the bead caps to your own
beads using classic “cold connection” techniques
¨Finish them off with a gleaming
bright polish or lustrous matte finish
A maximum of 5 students per class ensures personalized instruction
for every participant!
